WEST POINT, GA - Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) presented a $5,000 donation to the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute. The funds were given as a sponsorship for the 2013 Georgia Hall Society Ball, a fundraiser for the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.
“We appreciate the work done at the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation and thank the board for the chance to participate in the Georgia Hall Society Ball again this year,” said Randy Jackson, KMMG’s vice president of human resources and administration.
The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation was founded more than 80 years ago and continues to serve approximately 4,000 individuals each year with a variety of different disabilities.
“We thank KMMG for supporting this year’s event and for being such a tremendous partner,” said Dr. Paige Collins, chairperson of the Georgia Hall Society Ball. “KMMG’s generosity allows for the continuation of the healing and restoration provided by this wonderful institute.”
