Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) provided $400,000 in funding support to the Troup County Development Authority on Friday.
“The Troup County Development Authority has always been supportive of KMMG and has helped to make our success in Troup County possible,” said Randy Jackson, the Kia plant’s vice president of human resources and administration. “We consider the Troup County Development Authority a critical partner for KMMG and a big part of our team here at the facility along with the City of West Point, Troup County, Harris County and the State of Georgia.”
Ricky Wolfe, the chairman of the Troup County Commission, thanked KMMG for the support and for the plant’s commitment to Troup County.
“I can tell you firsthand that KMMG is committed to this area’s growth and success,” said Wolfe. “We are fortunate to have such a dedicated corporate partner here in Troup County and we look forward to many years of continued partnership with KMMG.”
