TROUP COUNTY, GA - Finishing touches are underway at Long Cane Fire Station #4 with grand opening ceremonies scheduled for February 21 at 11:00 a.m. The new station is adjacent to the Long Cane Middle School campus on Long Cane Road.
“This will be the first public building in Troup County to achieve LEED certification,” said County Manager Mike Dobbs. “It represents a cultural change in Troup County toward a more sustainable-built environment. As a leader in energy and environmental design, this building sets the example that others will follow for generations as we grow our culture of stewardship for a more sustainable future.”
