WEST POINT, GA - Do you know what you're doing with your Christmas tree as the decorations come down this year?

The U.S Army Corps of Engineers will be accepting real Christmas trees for recycling from Dec. 27 through Jan. 11.

Valleywide Christmas Parade coming through town

VALLEY, AL - It's time for the Valleywide Christmas Parade on Thursday Dec. 6!

The parade begins on the corner of 3rd Ave and 10th St. in West Point, rolls down 3rd Ave and onto Hwy 29 through Lanett and Valley to the parking lot of Chambers County-Bradshaw Library, where it is dismantled.

LaGrange Symphony gets into the Christmas spirit

Voices Against Violence Candlelight Vigil

LAGRANGE, GA - In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month the Harmony House and the Troup County Domestic Violence Task Force invites everyone to join us at the Voices Against Violence Candlelight Vigil.

The vigil will be held Monday, Oct. 22, from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the square in LaGrange, GA.

TROUP COUNTY, GA - The Historic Chattahoochee Commission (HCC), Troup County Historical Society (TCHS), and LaGrange College invite the public to a special panel discussion focusing on the life and legacy of LaGrange native and celebrated historian Dr. U.B. Phillips.

Dr. John David Smith, Distinguished Professor of American History at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, is the featured speaker in a symposium about Phillips’ life and remarkable legacy.
