Homeowner answers door and finds gun pointed at him | Crime

LAGRANGE, GA - A LaGrange homeowner opened his front door to find a man pointing a gun at his face, but some quick thinking kept the attacker outside.

LaGrange Police received a call on Jan. 2 around 7:45 p.m. that an attempted home invasion had taken place on Buck Murphy Rd. 

Officers met with the victim who said that someone came and knocked on front his door. He asked who was there and the person said a name the victim did not recognize. They also said they were there to see another resident who was not home.

The victim opened the door and found an unknown black male pointing a gun in his face.

The victim was able to get the door closed with the gunman still outside. He then ran away from his home to call 911.
