LaGrange man robbed while walking home | Crime
LAGRANGE, GA - A LaGrange pedestrian was beaten, robbed, and nearly run over on Mooty Bridge Rd Wednesday night.
Police say the victim was walking to his home around 9 p.m. on Nov. 21 when two unknown white males stopped their car in the area near Morning Creek Dr.
The victim told officers that the suspects got out of their vehicle and raised the hood. He kept walking past the men when they grabbed and hit him in the back of the head.
The suspects then stole his wallet then jumped back into their car and sped off.
The victim tried to grab onto the vehicle as it was leaving, but he couldn't hang on and fell off from the side.
He was taken to West Georgia Health's emergency room and was treated for minor scrapes and scratches.
