Chick-fil-A hosts breakfast giveaway

COLUMBUS, GA - Seven Chick-fil-A® restaurants in the greater Columbus area will give away free Chick-fil-A® Chicken Biscuits to all customers on Monday, Jan 21 and Monday, Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 9 a.m.

This offer is valid in the restaurant and in the drive-thru. Limit one free item, per customer. Participating restaurants include Chick-fil-A on Wynnton Road, Chick-fil-A in Peachtree Mall, Chick-fil-A in Phenix City, Chick-fil-A on Bradley Park Drive, Chick-fil-A on Commerce Avenue, Chick-fil-A on LaFayette Parkway, and Chick-fil-A in Midland.

Kia continues to invest in West Point plant

WEST POINT, GA - Gov. Nathan Deal today announced that Kia Motors, one of the fastest-growing car companies in the United States, is investing in production efficiencies at Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia in West Point. In response to continued growth and success in product sales, Kia will make major investments in additional machinery, equipment and production upgrades for the future.

Kia selects on site health services

WEST POINT, GA - Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) has selected West Georgia Health (WGH, LaGrange, Ga.) and WeCare TLC (WeCare, Longwood, Fla.) to manage occupational health services at its West Point facility. WGH and WeCare assumed responsibility for the occupational health of KMMG’s more than 3,000 team members effective Nov. 17.

WeCare TLC may provide first line care for work-related conditions at KMMG’s onsite occupational health center. WeCare will staff the clinic but WGH will provide physicians – including Nick Vlachos, MD, who will serve as medical director – and other clinicians.
